Our Story

Building Hope in Mpigi District

Kiwamirembe Youth Skilling Organisation (KYSO) is a community-based organisation established to empower vulnerable youth, particularly adolescent girls, young mothers, and school dropouts through vocational skills, entrepreneurship, and community development programs.

Based in Mpigi District, Uganda, KYSO works to reduce unemployment and improve livelihoods through practical and sustainable training opportunities. We understand that economic empowerment is the cornerstone of social transformation.

Our organisation brings together dedicated volunteers, community leaders, and development professionals committed to ensuring every young person in our communities has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.

Vision

Enhancement of the skills and talents of youths through technical training.

Mission

To ensure reduction of unemployment, crimes, transmission of STDs, early marriages and pregnancies among adolescent girls through equipping them with self-sustaining skills.
